LearnWell is currently looking for our next creative and passionate teacher to fill a full-time school year position in Belle Mead, NJ.
This certified teacher will work in a unique fast-paced behavioral health facility center; which involves working with adolescent students in a small classroom setting and supporting them academically with common core subjects while they are receiving treatment.
In this position, you will be working with small groups of students in therapeutic environment to help them stay on track with their academics while they are unable to attend their traditional schools.
The teaching environments consist of students in a small group setting.
Average class size of 10-12.
Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:
Plan, prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional material for an average of 10-12 students, with a maximum amount of 15; in a small group setting Help students one-on-one if extra assistance is needed on their individual school curriculum Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction Communicate necessary information regularly to students, hospital and parents regarding student progress and student needs Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies Updating daily attendance and creating daily session reports for each student
Qualifications:
NJ Standard Teaching Certification required (NO CEAS or CE) B.
A/B.
S degree from an accredited institution required Have a passion for working with students 7-12 grade Need to oversee students completing their schoolwork, help when needed, facilitate lessons left for students who do not have work, and complete a session report for the students at the end of the class Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment.
Hours are Monday - Friday from 7:
30 am - 4:

00 am - 4:
30 pm (based on candidate preference).
